Joe Hogan isn’t your typical politician – he’s different. Since being elected, Joe has put our families first in Harrisburg. Rather than fight for a political agenda, Joe has worked with both sides to pass common sense solutions for our families.
Joe understands the issues we face, because he and his wife Janita live them everyday. As expecting parents, Joe and Janita believe in improving our community for future generations.
He has worked across the aisle to have five pieces of legislation enacted including public safety improvements and awareness about women’s health. Joe has brought back more than $9.5 million in grants to improve our infrastructure, protect our communities, and support our schools.
RECORD FUNDING FOR OUR SCHOOLS
Joe Hogan believes that funding our schools is a top priority. That’s why Joe has worked with both Republicans and Democrats to deliver record funding for our public schools, including over $17 million for Council Rock and over $18 million for Neshaminy.
Joe has won praise from both sides for his commitment to increasing education funding.
INVESTING IN SCHOOL SAFETY
As an expecting dad, Joe has been a strong advocate for steps to keep our kids safe and cared for. That’s why Joe has been a loud voice for record investments in school safety initiatives and for more money for mental health programs for kids at school.
CREATING MIDDLE CLASS JOBS AND FIGHTING INFLATION
Joe Hogan knows the middle class is struggling in this economy and he’s been fighting to put more money in the pockets of our families and to create better paying jobs.
Joe has fought for increases in job training, apprenticeship programs, and to save families money on their energy bills and property taxes.
Joe has been endorsed by trade unions and small business groups because he has brought people together to create jobs and save families money.
KEEPING OUR NEIGHBORHOODS SAFE
Nothing is more important than keeping our communities safe. To Joe, it’s just common sense to stand with the men and women in law enforcement. That’s why he’s endorsed by police. Joe voted for the largest increase in the State Police and for protections for our police officers.
Joe has also been a champion to fight the fentanyl crisis, including working to end sanctuary cities and counties.
STANDING UP FOR OUR SENIORS
Our senior citizens have devoted their entire lives to improve the community for future generations. Joe believes we need to keep our commitments to our seniors.
Joe has voted to expand the property tax rebate program so that more seniors can get relief from the burdensome property tax system. He’s also voted to expand PACE and PACENET coverage for seniors, so more seniors can get free and discounted medication.
